SMM won a Bronze Telly for the Commercial, “Volunteer to be Amazing,” which was created for client Suffolk County, NY’s Department of Fire, Rescue and Emergency Services. The video was part of a “heroic” multimedia campaign developed to help increase the number of volunteer firefighters and EMTs in the County, with the long-range goal of improving emergency services by reducing emergency response times, decreasing fire-related property damage and decreasing fire-related civilian casualties. As a result of the campaign, over 2,300 new recruits have signed up, and the Suffolk’s Bravest Facebook page has grown by almost 3,500 “Likes.”
