When Great Collaboration Pays Off: Our ATI Campaign Wins Gold

We’ve got some exciting news to share, and this one means a lot to us.

Our team at SMM Advertising recently took home a Gold Award at the 2025 MarCom Awards for a campaign we created with ATI Technical Services. The recognition was in the Strategic Communications | Marketing/Promotion Campaign category, and it highlights something we care deeply about: building smart, integrated marketing that actually drives results.

But more than the award itself, this project is a great example of what can happen when agency and client truly work as one team.

Building Something Bigger Than a Campaign

ATI came to us with a clear goal: to elevate awareness of their specialized service division and increase annual service contract conversions. Straightforward on paper: but the solution needed to be anything but ordinary.

So, we built a full 360º campaign designed to meet customers wherever they are.

That meant:

  • Launching a dedicated website tailored to their service offering
  • Creating targeted digital advertising
  • Rolling out social media and Google display campaigns
  • Developing email outreach
  • Featuring spotlight banners directly on ATI’s main website

Everything worked together as a cohesive system with no silos or disconnected tactics, just a unified message delivered across multiple touchpoints.

Telling the Right Story

One of the biggest opportunities was helping ATI clearly communicate what makes them different.

They’re one of the few companies that offer both equipment sales and technical boiler room services, a combination that gives them a serious edge in the market. Our job was to make sure that value wasn’t just stated… but felt.

The campaign focused on reinforcing their expertise, reliability, and unique position in the industry — turning that differentiation into real engagement and, ultimately, conversions.

Why This Win Matters

Awards are great (we won’t pretend they’re not), but this one is especially meaningful because it reflects the strength of the partnership behind the work.

As our CEO Judy DeBiase put it: “Work of this caliber can only be accomplished when an agency and a client have a superior working relationship, functioning as one team with a shared vision.”

That’s exactly what this was.

At the end of the day, great marketing isn’t just about channels or tactics — it’s about alignment, strategy, and execution all working together.

This campaign checked all those boxes, and we’re proud to see it recognized.
