SMM is the recent recipient of six Davey Awards, an international creative awards program honoring “outstanding creative work from the best small shops worldwide.”

SMM won two Silver Awards won for its website work on behalf of the Center for Corporate Education at Stony Brook University in the categories of “Best Visual Appeal – Aesthetic for Websites” and “Websites for Schools / Universities.”The agency also won two Gold Awards for its digital ad, “4 mm Spring Load,” on behalf of Mill-Max Manufacturing, specifically in the “Online Advertising and Marketing Display Advertising and Rich Media” category and in the “Online Advertising and Marketing-Mobile Marketing” category. SMM earned two additional Silver Awards on behalf of Winters Bros. Waste Systems in the “Best Visual Appeal – Aesthetic for Websites” and “Best Home Page for Websites” categories.

The awards were presented as part of the 14th Annual Davey Awards program which received 3,000 entries from ad agencies, interactive agencies, production firms, in-house creative professional graphic design firms and public relations firms. The Davey Awards are judged and overseen by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA).
